Who is Eligible?

Any candidate age 7 or older who needs financial assistance for tuition and travel dance team expenses.

Application Guidelines

Scholarships will be awarded based on the following:

1. Written essays. Applicants must explain why they are seeking the scholarship, their future goals, and how they intend to give back to the local dance community

2. All scholarship award finalists will be required to audition to demonstrate their technical dance and performance abilities. 

All levels and styles of dance are accepted.

3. All applicants must complete the Scholarship Application.

Scholarship Award Criteria

The Adrenaline Dance Project, Inc. awards scholarships based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • A written essay

  • Consistent attendance at company classes or dance team rehearsals

  • Determination and passion for dance

  • Dance skills showcased during auditions

  • Amps Membership and Participation.

Scholarship amounts depend on available funds and the number of qualified applicants.

Scholarship Recipient Responsibilities

Scholarship recipients must:

  • Reapply annually

  • Teach or assist (based on age and experience) in 1–3 dance classes, camps, or workshops

  • Join the AMPS Association, a dancer-parent organization dedicated to fundraising for dance fees

(Competitive team dancers receiving scholarships must participate in fundraising through the AMPS Parent Booster Association.)

The Adrenaline Music Parent Supporters (AMPS) Association is a nonprofit, volunteer organization of parents and supporters committed to raising funds for dancers’ participation in regional and national competitions. Learn more and join at https://www.memberplanet.com/amps.

To apply for a scholarship, email AMPS at AMPSnova@outlook.com to verify membership. Once confirmed, scholarship applications for competitive teams will be considered.

Deadline

The deadline to submit a scholarship application is June 15, 2025, for the 2025-2026 Dance Season.
